Flemish Pie

  • French-Style Fresh Cheese Plain
  • 500 ml of French-Style Fresh Cheese Plain
  • 6 pita breads or Naan breads or pizza dough
  • 300 g of smoked pork breast cut into small cubes or bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 leek, white part only
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • Riviera Grated Swiss Cheese

Preparation: 15 minutes / Baking: 15 minutes / Servings: 6

  1. In a skillet, brown the smoked pork breast after cutting it into small lardoons.
  2. Add the onion and leek, thinly sliced, and sweat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the Riviera French-Style Cheese, Riviera Grated Swiss, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Spread lardoon mixture over the bread, top with the cheese mixture and cook in the oven at 425°F for about 15 minutes.
  5. Serve with a nice seasonal salad.
